FREE Google Place ID Finder Tool

Instantly find your Google Place ID for maps, reviews, and local SEO.

*This tool only works for businesses that have a public address on their Google Business Profile. If you cannot find your profile, make sure you spelled it exactly how it appears on Google and try adding the city its located in afterwards. Ex: “Bella Nails Miami”

I have a Google Business Profile. Why doesn't my Place ID show up in the Finder Tool?
First, check your spelling. Your search must match your Google Business Listing exactly. Next, if your listing is active but our Google Place ID Finder cannot locate it, the most common reason is that you are a Service Area Business (SAB).
Google’s Place ID is built for brick-and-mortar locations with public addresses. It often fails for SABs because:

  • Hidden Addresses: To protect privacy, Google hides the physical addresses of businesses that serve customers at their own locations (like plumbers or builders).
  • API Design: The Google Places API is designed to help users find physical places to visit; since SABs aren’t “visitable,” they are often excluded from standard API search results.
  • Pending Verification: If your profile is new, recently updated, or under review, it may take several days to appear in the tool’s index.
Yes. While mostly stable, Place IDs can change if a business moves, merges with another listing, or if Google performs a major database update. Google recommends refreshing stored Place IDs every 12 months.
